2. PRIVACY STATEMENT

This statement explains how we may collect and use information about you through our website.

2.1 Submitting your contact details

2.5 IP addresses

We monitor visits to our website by recording the IP address of visitors to our site. This is principally so that we can make sure that we can obtain tracking feedback on:

  • whether visitors to our website find it easy to navigate;
  • particular areas of interest to visitors.

We can then use this information to improve the website and our services.

What is an IP address? An IP address is a unique number which identifies the computer which is accessing our website and its location on the internet. The IP address information will not identify individuals. We do not seek to identify individual visitors unless they volunteer their contact details by emailing us or completing one of the online forms on the website.

In some circumstances our records will identify organisations visiting our website and we may use that information in managing our relationship with those organisations, for example, in considering how to develop the services that we offer them.

2.6 Cookies

Our website uses cookies so that we can recognise when a visitor’s computer makes a return visit to our website. We simply use them to improve the experience of using this website, for example, by allowing the website to remember bookmarks.

What are cookies? Cookies are small data files which are downloaded to a computer when it accesses a website. Cookies by themselves do not tell us a personal email address or provide other information which will identify visitors personally.

Solutions Change operates as a single corporate entity. However, it works with a number of associate entities, individual business consultants / contractors and technical engineers to deliver client projects. The work is ultimately controlled by Solutions Change. When visitors to our website provide information to Solutions Change they are providing it to Solutions Change as a whole and we may provide information to our associate entities and associate contractors where necessary in the course of the work that we do. We ensure that all our associate entities sign a confidentiality and third–party non-disclosure agreement prior to individuals / entities working with Solutions Change.

2.8 Data Security

Solutions Change has reasonable security policies and procedures in place to protect personal information from unauthorised loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. Despite our best efforts, however, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats.

To the best of our knowledge and ability to control access to personal information is provided by Solutions Change only to those individuals who have a need to know.

Where access to personal information on individuals is available by individuals working as employees, associates or service providers to Solutions Change, those individuals are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information.

Regarding data destruction, we also make reasonable efforts to retain personal information only for so long as the information is necessary to comply with an individual’s request or until that person asks that the information is deleted. We destroy our data using secure shredding methods for both digital records and hard copy records.

2.9 Children

Solutions Change understands the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. In particular, our sites are not intentionally designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. It is our intention not to knowingly collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13 except where this is as part a specific engagement contract to provide our normal professional services.

The Solutions Change website contains links to other websites which are owned and maintained by other organisations. Please note that Solutions Change has no control over these other organisations and they are not governed by the Privacy Statement for Solutions Change. If visitors to our website have submitted personal information to Solutions Change, under most circumstances those individuals have the right to reasonable access to that data to correct any inaccuracies.
