SOLUTIONS CHANGE

Solutions Change was formed as a group of freelance associated Management Consultants/ Programme and Project Managers. It was founded by Fay MacDonald in 2002.

We provide Professional Services to a variety of industry sectors and in the last 10 years have specialised in the Healthcare sector. Our services include Project and Programme Management and a wide variety of other Professional Services related to change projects and programmes involving, people, processes and technology, enterprise-wide change analysis and delivery, benefits realisation, lean thinking and financial management reporting to monitor efficiency.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

We provide a range of advisory, Change Management, Strategy and Programme and Project management delivery services.

We are experienced in a variety of clinical care settings, clinical IT systems, business change and general project management, finance, procurement and stock-control.

Our sub-specialities include Radiology and Cardiology RIS and PACS, business process analysis, efficiency planning, business cases, selection and implementation of IT enabling solutions to achieve benefits, training staff, managing change of roles and departments / organisations, new services planning and delivery, integration of people and processes as a result of mergers, data migration of historic systems to new IT systems.

Fay MacDonald

Background

Fay MacDonald has 20+ years of experience in business professional services, IT and business change programmes. Fay has a degree from the University of Aberdeen in Law, International Politics and French. She has post-graduate qualifications in accountancy. She is based in the greater London area and has worked in the following countries: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, UK, USA.

Business & IT Experience

After working in a variety of industry sectors including professional accounting, shipping and retail Fay worked with KPMG Consulting in London for around 7 years. Clients include: HRH The Prince of Wales, Sky, Virgin Group, Prudential, BP, Cookson plc, Swiss Re, various technology and high-tech clients, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, ERP and financial systems providers.

At KPMG Consulting she progressed to Senior Management developing business solutions, specialising in business change and IT programmes for global companies and large complex programmes / projects. Fay was a recognised expert in Enterprise Resource Planning, Management Information Systems and Financial Systems.

Healthcare Experience

In 2002 Fay moved into Healthcare Consultancy. She set-up her own freelance business to specialise in the delivery of professional services. Since 2002 Fay has built sub-specialties in Radiology and Cardiology RIS and PACS. She has also worked with other clinical / patient information and management information systems including. Systems worked with include: EPR (electronic patient record), Maternity, Child Health, Pathology, A&E, Data warehousing, Business Process Mapping, Image Sharing solutions between organisations. Clients and companies worked with include: Imperial Hospitals NHS Trust, North Bristol NHS Trust, Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust, NHS South West SHA, Heatherwood & Wexham Park NHS Trust, Royal Free Hospital Hampstead, UCLH, GE Healthcare, Agfa Healthcare, HSS, Euroking.
